Abstract submission
Abstract Submission for the 2021 Meeting

The abstract submission process has undergone important changes. You can only submit the abstract electronically using the link below.

You must submit a title and abstract no later than October 8th, 2021.

Presenter Instructions

Poster Presentations

* There will be one Zoom session for each section, e.g., Physics & Astronomy. The Section Chairs will moderate the Zoom session.

* Each presenter will present a “lightning talk” of their poster lasting no more than 3 minutes, with 2 minutes of questions.

* Your presentation should use software similar to Powerpoint. The presenter will use the “share screen” mode during the presentation of their poster. Therefore, the presenter should not expect features like a timer or speaker’s notes to work.

* Each section Zoom session will last the duration of the poster session (8:30-9:45 am Central Time).

* Viewers and judges can use the chat feature to discuss the material.

* Presenters are encouraged to practice using Zoom to ensure that they are able to present their material.

Oral Presentations

* There will be one Zoom session for each section, e.g., Physics & Astronomy. The Section Chair will moderate the Zoom session.

* Each presentation will be allowed 10 minutes with an additional 5 minutes for questions.

* The presenter will use the “share screen” mode during the presentation to share their slides. Therefore, the presenter should not expect features like a time or speaker’s notes to work.

* Presenters are encouraged to practice using Zoom to ensure that they are able to present their material.
